Have you ever caught yourself saying…✨ “When are things going to slow down?”“I’m having a hard time sleeping.”“I feel so exhausted.”

If so—you’re not alone. These are all classic signs of burnout.

And here’s the truth: in today’s fast-paced world, things probably aren’t going to slow down.Which means if you’re chasing a big vision, you need a new way to build—one that doesn’t leave you depleted and resentful.

That’s what I call building without burnout.

Why Rest Alone Isn’t the Answer

Most of us are told the antidote to burnout is more rest, more self-care, more walks in nature. And while those things are beautiful for your nervous system… they don’t solve the root of the problem.

I’ve seen it again and again with women I work with. They’ll take the weekend off, or book a spa day, only to find themselves right back in the same loop of exhaustion.

Why? Because rest alone doesn’t heal the deeper pattern driving burnout.

Step One: Heal the Part of You That Overgives

Burnout is often fueled by a hidden part of you that’s:

  • Overgiving

  • Under-asking for support

  • Operating from scarcity

Maybe you learned it from your mother or another woman you watched growing up. Maybe you asked for help once and it didn’t go well. Whatever the story, that part of you is convinced it’s not safe to slow down.

Through tapping, we can bring this part forward—let her feel seen, acknowledged, and safe. And when that happens? Your system relaxes.

👉 And when a woman relaxes, a woman receives.

This is when you’ll notice more creative ideas, more opportunities, more money, and more capacity to actually enjoy the dream you’re building.

Step Two: Rebuild Your Relationship With God

The second remedy might surprise you, but it’s absolutely essential: your faith.

Whether you call it God, Spirit, or the Universe—you weren’t designed to carry the weight of your success or your struggles all alone.

As Pastor Steven Furtick says:

“When I take the glory, I have to take the weight. But when I give God the glory, I can give God the weight.”

There’s weight at the top of the mountain (success). There’s weight at the bottom of the valley (failure). And if you try to carry it all yourself—you will break.

But when you build with God, you can hand over the weight and keep moving forward.

God Is in the Mountain and the Valley

One of the biggest lies burnout tells us is that we’re alone. That God only shows up in the high moments, but not in the lows.

The truth? God is with you in both.

He’s there when you’re celebrating a win. He’s there when you’re holding grief, struggle, or uncertainty. And He’s always holding the people and circumstances you care about most.

That awareness changes everything. Because when you know you don’t have to hold it all, you stop burning out—and you start building from a place of peace, safety, and connection.

The Bottom Line

Burnout isn’t solved by more sleep or a better morning routine. It’s healed by:

  1. Tapping to release the part of you stuck in scarcity, overgiving, and fear.

  2. Deepening your relationship with God so you don’t have to carry the weight alone.

This is how you build your dream without burning out.
